  • Huajing Park – Located halfway up Lushan, this park is famous for the Tang poet Bai Juyi’s verse in “Dalin Temple Peach Blossoms”. It is most beautiful in spring when the peach blossoms bloom, offering a tranquil environment perfect for flower viewing and strolling.
  • Ruqin Lake – Named for its violin-shaped surface, the lake is clear and surrounded by green mountains. Pavilions and small bridges along the shore create a picturesque setting, ideal for photography and relaxation.
  • Jinxiugu – One of Lushan’s most iconic valleys, featuring strange peaks, cliffs, and mist. The wide vistas make it a “natural landscape gallery,” and hiking here is a breathtaking experience.
  • Guling Town – The central town on Lushan, established in modern times, serving as the hub of the summer resort area. It blends Eastern and Western architecture and hosts cafés, guesthouses, and historic villas, providing accommodation, rest, and supplies for visitors.
  • Xianren Cave – A famous Taoist site, traditionally believed to be a place of immortals’ cultivation. The cave is deep and mysterious, often shrouded in mist, creating an ethereal atmosphere, making it one of Lushan’s signature attractions.
  • Meilu Villa – One of the most historically significant villas on Lushan, once the residence of Chiang Kai-shek and Soong Mei-ling. The elegant architecture, peaceful surroundings, and preserved Republican-era interiors are full of historical charm.
  • Hanpokou – A renowned viewpoint on Lushan, ideal for watching the sunrise and the sea of clouds. On clear days, visitors can enjoy distant views of Poyang Lake, with expansive, magnificent scenery.

This is the most direct place to understand Jingdezhen’s ceramic culture.
  • Imperial Kiln (Complimentary trendy drink: bitter melon lemon water) The official kiln from the Ming and Qing dynasties that produced porcelain exclusively for the imperial palace, representing the highest level of ceramic craftsmanship of the time.
