ITINERARY / SCHEDULE
DAY 1 - Colombo (Arrival) - Negombo
Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative at the airport and proceed to Negombo.
Later, enjoy a city tour of Negombo, exploring its highlights and local attractions:
- Lellama fish market - A lively traditional fish market where local fishermen bring in fresh daily catches. It is one of the best places to see Sri Lanka’s coastal fishing culture in action.
- Boattrip on the hamilton canal (Optional Supplement) - A historic canal built during the Dutch colonial era, connecting coastal areas and lagoons. A boat trip offers a quiet scenic view of mangroves and local village life.
- Visiting to historical catholic church - A historic church reflecting Sri Lanka’s colonial-era Christian heritage, often featuring old architecture and peaceful religious atmosphere.
- Browns beach - A popular sandy beach in Negombo known for its relaxed atmosphere, sunset views, and local beach activities.

DAY 2 - Negombo - Kandy
After breakfast, continue your journey to Kandy and continue to visit the following attractions:
- Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage - A famous elephant sanctuary in Sri Lanka that cares for orphaned and injured elephants. Visitors can observe elephant feeding, bathing, and daily activities in a natural environment.
- Royal Botanical Garden Peradeniya - A large and famous botanical garden near Kandy, home to thousands of plant species including orchids, palm trees, spices, and giant fig trees. It was once a royal park and is now a major attraction for nature lovers.
- Temple of the Tooth Relic - The most sacred Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka, located in Kandy. It is believed to house a tooth relic of the Buddha and is an important pilgrimage site with daily religious ceremonies.
- Kandy Lake - A scenic artificial lake in the heart of Kandy, built by the last king of Sri Lanka. It is surrounded by walking paths and offers peaceful views of the city and temple area.
- Cultural dance performance - A traditional Sri Lankan cultural show featuring Kandyan dance, drumming, colorful costumes, and fire-walking performances that reflect ancient royal traditions.

DAY 3 - Kandy – Nuwaraeliya
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Nuwara Eliya and proceed on a city tour:
- Hakgala Botanical Garden - A cool-climate botanical garden located near Nuwara Eliya, famous for its rose gardens, orchids, ferns, and scenic mountain backdrop. It is one of the highest botanical gardens in the world.
- Gregory lake - A scenic lake in the heart of Nuwara Eliya, built during the British colonial era. It is a popular spot for boat rides, walking, and relaxing in cool weather.
- Ambewela Farm - A highland dairy farm known as “Little New Zealand,” producing fresh milk and dairy products while offering open grassland scenery and cool climate views.
- Strawberry Farm - A local farm where fresh strawberries are grown and visitors can pick or taste seasonal fruits, especially popular in the cool climate region.
- Waterfalls - Scenic waterfalls in Sri Lanka’s central highlands, often surrounded by tea plantations and mountains, offering beautiful photo stops and refreshing views.

DAY 4 - Nuwaraeliya
After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day excursion.
- Tea factory visit - A tea processing factory located in the highlands of Ambewela, where fresh tea leaves are processed into Ceylon tea. Visitors can observe the production process from withering to packaging and enjoy freshly brewed tea.

DAY 5 - Nuwaraeliya - Ambewela - Ella - Yala
After breakfast, you will head to Ella. Enjoy a scenic train ride from Ella to Ambewela (Train ride 2nd Ticket Included). Upon completion of the journey, you will be picked up from Ambewela and transferred to Yala. Upon arrival, proceed on a city tour.
- Ramboda falls - A beautiful multi-tiered waterfall located in Sri Lanka’s central highlands, surrounded by tea plantations and misty mountains. It is a popular scenic stop along the Kandy–Nuwara Eliya route.

DAY 6 - Yala - Colombo (Departure)
After breakfast, you may spend time at leisure or join a city tour. Following lunch, you will be transferred to Colombo for a guided city tour.
- Colombo city tour & Shopping Including Noritake Lanka Porcelain - A guided tour of Sri Lanka’s capital city, showcasing modern landmarks, colonial architecture, markets, and shopping areas, including local handicrafts and branded products. Noritake Lanka Porcelain is a showroom and factory outlet of the famous Japanese porcelain brand Noritake, producing high-quality ceramics and tableware in Sri Lanka.
- Colombo National Museum - The largest museum in Sri Lanka, showcasing ancient artifacts, royal regalia, sculptures, and cultural heritage of the country.
- Gangaramaya Temple - A famous Buddhist temple in Colombo known for its mix of modern and traditional architecture, religious relics, and cultural museum displays.
- Independence Square - A national monument built to commemorate Sri Lanka’s independence from British rule, featuring traditional Kandyan-style architecture and peaceful surroundings.
- Lotus Tower - The tallest structure in Sri Lanka, offering panoramic views of Colombo city from its observation deck. It is a modern communication and tourism landmark.
In the evening, you will be dropped off at the international airport for your departure.
