The exterior of the Water Cube features a unique structure resembling bubbles, giving it the appearance of a giant cube made of water. • The Summer Palace - is a royal garden from the Qing Dynasty in China, originally known as the Qingyi Garden. It is located in the western suburbs of Beijing, about 15 kilometers from the city center, covering an area of 3.009 square kilometers (with the UNESCO World Heritage Site area of the Summer Palace being 2.97 square kilometers), with water occupying about three-quarters of the total area. The construction of the Summer Palace began in 1750 AD and was severely damaged during the war in 1860. Reconstruction took place on the original site in 1886. Its artificial landscapes, such as pavilions, long corridors, halls, temples, and small bridges, harmonize with natural hills and the vast lake, blending together in an artistic manner, making it a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design.
• Temple of Heaven - is a complex of imperial religious buildings situated in the southeastern part of central Beijing. • Qianmen Antique Commercial Street/Dashilan Pedestrian Street - It used to be a bustling commercial area. Originating from the Yuan Dynasty and established during the Ming Dynasty, it flourished from the Qing Dynasty to the present day.
